Social Media Strategy | Project Management
Pop Up Gatherings celebrate the unique Fal Oyster and its new Protected Food Name (PDO), enjoying fish and shellfish landed by local fishermen using traditional and sustainable methods.
A festival celebrating the Falmouth Oyster was organised this March and included recipes and menus created with local produce by top chefs such as Dale McIntosh from Merchants Manor, Mark Apsey from Idle Rocks, and London’s Masaki Sugisaki. There was also an Artists & Makers tent hosted by The Little Yellow House Studios, not forgetting live music on Miss Peapods Stage. Pop Up Gatherings were also very proud to showcase their new venture OSTRACA and introduce the Fal Mussel at the inaugural Fal Mussel Festival…
I was asked to come on board the PR team at Pop Up Gatherings to help with the social media plan and promotion. After setting up relevant social media business pages on all platforms and building an audience it was easy to then engage with their customers and build their profile for them. The essence of this campaign was to find the right audience who would be interested in the event and to build a strategy from there. This is a long term project with many more events to come within the year so watch this space..
