What is 'Digital Marketing'?
We live in a digital world. Unlike traditional marketing, which uses offline methods like print ads and TV commercials, digital marketing focuses on channels like websites, social media, search engines, email, and mobile apps. It encompasses a wide range of strategies and tactics aimed at reaching and engaging with customers through online platforms. If you run a business, the chances are you will definitely require, or already be engaging in, digital marketing to some extent, in order reach out to new customers and to communicate with your current client base.
Does my business need marketing?

You can have the greatest business idea in the world, but people need to know about it, right? Marketing need not be expensive and, if done right, the benefits are huge.

How does paid-for advertising on social media work?
Posting on your business social media channel is very important for engaging with your followers and getting messages out there. However if your aim is to increase sales (and gain new social followers and visitors to your website in the process) then social media adverts are a VERY powerful tool for exposing your brand to the right people. Meta Advertising (formerly Facebook Advertising) allows fine-tuning of your audience, so that adverts can be received by the people that you want them to (determined by building a profile of your target audience). You choose the spend budget, either a daily limit or total spend for a campaign, and the algorithm calculates how to best spend it based on feedback from the live campaign (who is responding the most, when etc.) The results can be mindblowing and a well created and well managed ad campaign is a very effective way of getting the word out there and selling your product or service.
How much does paid advertising cost?
The costs for advertising on social media can vary hugely depending on the size of your business, your goals for the campaign, size of intended audience, spend budget etc. Get in touch with Aplomb Creative Marketing and we will work with you to create a realistic, affordable and effective plan for social media advertising.

What is SEO?
Search Engine Optimisation is the ongoing process of maintaining and updating your website to ensure it stays in touch with the ever-changing way that search engines (mainly but not exclusively Google) rank websites, and therefore how highly they are displayed in lists of search results. If you are selling T-shirts in Falmouth, and you wish to be more competitive, then when someone types 'T-shirts Falmouth' into Google, you should be ranking as highly as possible on the displayed results, ideally in the No 1 top spot!
Does every business with a website use SEO management?
Any businesses that rank highly when you type in a relevant Google search term definitely stay on top of their SEO maintenance. Having a lovely shiny website is great, but if you want new potential customers to find it, then SEO will be vital to making sure it isn't invisible!
Is SEO expensive?
The cost of ongoing SEO management varies depending on the size of the website and the amount of work involved, but we can discuss your requirements and offer a package that will achieve your goals and suit your budget. The question should be 'Is NOT utilising SEO expensive?' The answer is usually 'Yes!'.
